As part of the New Orleans Keyboard Festival, NOPI is an award-winning intensive solo performance program designed for advanced and intermediate college, high school, and junior high school pianists. Participants receive private lessons, perform in master classes, attend lectures and discussions, have competition opportunities, and perform in the Showcase Recital. 

This year, the New Orleans Piano Institute takes place concurrently with the 28th New Orleans International Piano Competition. NOPI students will also be invited to attend all of the rounds of the New Orleans International Piano Competition as a part of the institute which is included in tuition.
