A note from our Executive & Artistic Director

While this time has brought plenty of challenges, disruptions, anxiety, and sadness, it also brings great creativity with a deeper thirst for beauty, hope, and joy. At times like these, we as creatives and musical artists have an incredible gift to share and a calling to share it. MASNO remains committed to our mission of supporting artists, connecting our community through the sharing of their music, and nurturing talent through music education. Please consider a gift today to support the continuation of our new virtual mini-concert series MANOtes, other upcoming programming, and artist relief efforts during this extraordinary time. With sincerest thanks, Cara McCool Woolf

Gifts can be made today until midnight tonight (June 2, 2020) at www.givenola.org/masno or via the Support page of this site.

It is with much disappointment that we announce the postponement of the 28th New Orleans International Piano Competition (previously set for July 19-26, 2020) to July of 2021. The specific dates will be announced soon. This was a difficult, but necessary decision due to COVID19 pandemic developments in New Orleans and continual global spread. We hope that all current and prospective applicants will apply next year when applications re-open January 1, 2021.

On behalf of the Musical Arts Society of New Orleans and the New Orleans International Piano Competition, we wish you and your families the very best of health, success, and happiness in these trying times.
