An intensive solo performance program for advanced and intermediate college, high school, and junior high school pianists taking place during the stimulating atmosphere of an international piano completion
•Private lessons and master classes with Institute faculty and jury members of the New Orleans International Piano Competition, including Constance Carroll, Alan Chow, Frank Heneghan, Igor Resnianski, and Nelita True
•Lectures in piano literature and performance practice
•Auditions for a performance opportunity with the New Orleans Civic Symphony

2010 New Orleans Piano Institute Faculty
Alan Chow has won First Prizes at the Concert Artists Guild International New York Competition, the UCLA International Piano Competition, the Palm Beach Invitational Piano Competition, and the Silver Medal and Audience Favorite Prize at the Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition. Alan Chow currently serves on the piano faculty at Northwestern University.Frank Heneghan recently retired from the Dublin Polytechnic Institute where he was Director of Cultural Affairs and managed its College of Music—has adjudicated, lectured, taught, and conducted master classes from the U.S. to Australia, from South Africa to Japan, and countless places in between including Eastern Europe and Russia. Igor Resnianski is a prizewinner of many international piano competitions including New Orleans International Piano Competition, World Piano Competition in Cincinnati, First China International Piano Competition, and All-Russian Piano Competition. He is a much sought-after teacher, presenting master classes in the United States and abroad. For many years he has served on the faculty at the TCU/ Cliburn Piano Institute, now Piano Texas International Academy and Festival. He is currently on the faculty of Westchester University of Pennsylvania.Nelita True made her debut at age seventeen with the Chicago Symphony in Orchestra Hall and her New York debut with the Juilliard Orchestra in Avery Fisher Hall. Her career has taken her to the major cities of Western and Eastern Europe, Indonesia, Korea, Japan, Mexico, Iceland, New Zealand, Brazil, Australia, Canada, and to Hong Kong and Singapore, as well as to all fifty states in America. She was a visiting professor at the St. Petersburg Conservatory in Russia, performing and conducting master classes and has been in the People's Republic of China more than 20 times for recitals and master classes. Ms. True has been a jury member for the China International Piano Competition (Beijing), the Queen Sonja International Piano Competition (Oslo), the National piano Competition in Brazil, the Horowitz Competition (Kiev), the Concours de Musique in Canada, the PTNA (Tokyo), the Lev Vlassenko Competition in Australia, and the Gina Bachauer, New Orleans, Hilton Head, and William Kapell International Piano Competitions in the U.S.
