Competition for Young Artists Announced


The 1st Biennial New Orleans International Piano Competition for young Artists

July 19-26, 2009


Cash Prizes Totaling more than $20,000

The goal of the competition is to provide opportunities for the most gifted and communicative young musicians to further their careers and to offer to the community an opportunity to discover the world’s finest developing pianistic talents. To this end, the 1st New Orleans International Piano Competition for Young Artists (NOIPC-YA) will be held in conjunction with the annual New Orleans Keyboard Festival & Piano Institute, both hosted by the Musical Arts Society of New Orleans, July 19–26, 2009.
